Frequently Asked Questions
What forms of payment do you accept?
Our preferred payment system is a business or personal check. When our tree service technicians come to your yard, they are not equipped to handle credit card or debit card transactions or payments in cash.
What professional associations do you belong to?
We are members of the following:
Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA)—a resource for quality tree service for over seventy-two years
Massachusetts Arborists Association (MAA)—certifying arborists since 1930
National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)—representing small businesses
Better Business Bureau (BBB)—ensuring quality service for consumers
What is a certified arborist?
An arborist is an individual who cares for trees. To become a certified arborist from the MAA, an individual must pass an exam that is all about different trees types; care, pruning, and maintenance; and safety issues in caring for trees.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are licensed and insured. When you use our services, you get the best service available.
What different types of pruning services do you offer?
We can take care of any pruning needs you have, including the following:
Structural pruning to help a young tree grow correctly
Correctional pruning to take care of problems in an older tree
Detailed pruning and high-level pruning to take care of everything from small deadwood issues to larger problems
Can I plant a tree where an old one has been removed?
When an old tree is removed, even if the stump is removed, it is difficult to plant a tree or other shrubs and plants in that area. A tree has a root structure that permeates the ground and can make it hard for other plants to grow near the place where the old tree was.
